Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components with precision and expertise. Key Responsibilities

The Welder will perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Metal Fabrication: Cutting, shaping, and welding metal components to meet project specifications, utilizing advanced techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and alignment of metal structures.
• Quality Assurance: Conducting thorough inspections of welded joints and metal structures to verify compliance with industry standards, codes, and client requirements.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting welding equipment, including torches, grinders, and power tools, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Safety Compliance: Adhering to all workplace safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), fire prevention measures, and adherence to OSHA and other regulatory guidelines.
• Collaboration: Working closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery of high-quality results.
• Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving welding-related issues, such as defects, misalignments, or material inconsistencies, to maintain project integrity.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a welding certification program or apprenticeship is preferred. Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on welding experience in an industrial or construction setting.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques, with a strong understanding of metallurgy and welding processes. Familiarity with welding codes and standards, such as AWS D1.1 or ASME Section IX.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various environments, including confined spaces and outdoor sites.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision and focus to ensure high-quality welds and adherence to project specifications.
• Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication to collaborate with team members, report progress, and address any welding-related concerns.
• Certifications: Valid welding certification (e.g., AWS Certified Welder) and any additional certifications relevant to the industry or specific projects.
