We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Director of Finance to lead the financial operations of our prestigious property in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This pivotal role will serve as the primary financial strategist, driving the property’s financial performance while aligning with the brand’s overarching objectives. Key Responsibilities

The Director of Finance will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of the property by fulfilling the following core responsibilities:

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement property-wide financial strategies that align with the brand’s service objectives and target customer expectations. Champion initiatives that drive revenue growth, cost optimization, and sustainable profitability.
• Budgeting and Financial Planning:
  • Create and oversee the annual operating budget, ensuring alignment with the property’s and brand’s strategic goals.
  • Analyze financial data, market trends, and operational performance to produce accurate forecasts and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor actual financial performance against projections, providing actionable insights to optimize budget allocation and resource utilization.
• Financial Analysis and Risk Management:
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate cost-benefit scenarios, explore new business opportunities, and assess investment viability.
  • Implement robust financial controls and risk management frameworks to safeguard assets, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks by analyzing variances between actual and forecasted expenses, particularly in areas such as wages and operational costs.
• Leadership and Team Development:
  • Provide strong leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and high performance.
  • Communicate strategic financial goals and priorities clearly to subordinates and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with the property’s objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance appraisals, mentoring team members to enhance their professional growth and contribution to the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal and external audit teams to ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
  • Serve as the primary financial advisor to the General Manager and executive committee, providing strategic insights on financial performance, trends, and emerging issues.
  • Engage with property owners, corporate leadership, and key stakeholders to understand their priorities and deliver tailored financial solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Translate complex financial concepts into clear, persuasive communications that drive informed decision-making and desired behaviors across the organization.
• Operational Excellence and Innovation:
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes by leveraging technology, data analytics, and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead the development and execution of innovative financial strategies that support the property’s long-term growth and competitive advantage.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following educational and professional requirements:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. A master’s degree in a relevant discipline is highly desirable.
• Experience:
  • A minimum of three years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or a related field is required.
  • Alternatively, candidates with a master’s degree and at least one year of relevant experience will be considered.

This full-time management position is based at our property located on Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Street in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
