Director of Finance - A

The Director of Finance - A serves as the strategic financial leader for the property, driving business strategies that meet and exceed brand targets and customer expectations while maximizing ROI. This role is responsible for creating and executing a business plan aligned with the property and brand's strategy, focusing on financial activities and delivering desirable financial results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning and Decision Making:
• Develops profit improvement strategies, estimates costs and benefits, and explores new business opportunities.
• Analyzes sales, expenses, and wages to create annual budget plans and monitor actual performance.
• Leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive annual business plan.
• Analyzes financial data and market trends to provide accurate forecasts.
• Leading Finance Teams:
• Leads, influences, and encourages others through strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Communicates strategic goals and priorities to subordinates and influences the executive team.
• Oversees internal, external, and regulatory audit processes.
• Conducts annual performance appraisals with direct reports.
• Anticipating and Delivering on the Needs of Key Stakeholders:
• Attends meetings with owners, understanding their priorities and strategic focus.
• Advises the GM and executive committee on operating and financial issues.
• Communicates financial concepts clearly and persuasively to drive desired behaviors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting (or related major) with 3 years of experience, or
• Master's degree in Finance and Accounting (or related major) with 1 year of experience.
