Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Housman to join our team at Shura Island, The Red Sea, in Hanak, Saudi Arabia. This role is pivotal in delivering an exceptional guest experience by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service excellence across our luxury property. As a Housman, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that every guest interaction is memorable, seamless, and reflective of the sophisticated standards that define EDITION Hotels.

Key Responsibilities

The Housman will be responsible for a wide range of housekeeping duties designed to create a pristine and welcoming environment for our guests. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Guest Room Maintenance: Ensuring guest rooms are meticulously cleaned, stocked with amenities, and prepared to the highest standards of luxury and comfort.
• Public Space Cleaning: Maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restaurants, and recreational facilities.
• Guest Requests: Responding promptly and professionally to guest requests, such as additional towels, linens, or other housekeeping services, to enhance their stay.
• Inventory Management: Stocking and organizing housekeeping carts, linen closets, and supply areas to ensure efficient operations and minimal waste.
• Quality Assurance: Adhering to brand-specific standards and conducting regular inspections to guarantee consistency in cleanliness and presentation across all areas of the hotel.
• Team Collaboration: Working closely with other departments, including front desk, maintenance, and food and beverage, to ensure a cohesive and seamless guest experience.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This role requires a high level of physical activity and attention to detail. The Housman will be expected to:

• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods while performing duties.
• Engage in hands-on tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards at all times.
• Work in a fast-paced environment where adaptability and efficiency are essential.
