Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Coordinator Associate. Key Responsibilities

The HSE Coordinator Associate will work under the direct supervision of Operations Leadership to ensure the effective execution of health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines. Your responsibilities will primarily focus on a defined project, work-site, or geographic location, and may include the following duties:

  • Hazard Identification and Risk Management: Assist in identifying potential hazards and implementing risk mitigation strategies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Incident Reporting and Investigation: Support the reporting, investigation, and causal analysis of incidents to prevent recurrence and enhance safety protocols.
  • Waste Minimization and Pollution Prevention: Contribute to initiatives aimed at reducing waste and preventing pollution, aligning with environmental sustainability goals.
  • Emergency Response: Assist in developing and executing emergency response plans to ensure preparedness and rapid action in critical situations.
  • Compliance Activities: Participate in various compliance-related tasks to ensure adherence to local, national, and international regulations governing health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Audit and Inspection Support: Provide assistance during internal and external audits and inspections to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Record-Keeping and Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records and perform general administrative tasks to support HSE operations and reporting requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Possess an undergraduate degree in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Science, or Engineering.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental stewardship.
  • Exhibit excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a structured environment with clearly defined assignments and under the guidance of senior leadership.

Location and Job Details

This full-time position is based at our facility located at Jubail Highway Abu Hadria Exit, Al-Khobar, Al Khobar, 31952, Saudi Arabia. The role is part of the Support Services job family within the HSE Product Service Line, and the compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
