Project Director - Oil & Gas / Process Industries

We are seeking an accomplished Project Director with extensive experience leading major capital projects within the Oil & Gas or process industries. This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior engineering professional to drive the successful execution of large-scale projects and lead multidisciplinary teams across all project phases.

• Provide overall leadership and direction for major projects from initiation through completion
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Manage project planning, execution, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, construction, and project controls teams
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, performance metrics, and contractual obligations
• Participate in project development, technical bid evaluations, and strategic planning initiatives
• Drive compliance with company procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Mentor, develop, and lead high-performing teams while ensuring accountability for project deliverables

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related discipline. Professional Engineering registration preferred.
• 25+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or Process Industries
• Proven track record managing mega projects and large multidisciplinary teams
• Strong expertise in project management, planning, scheduling, controls, and execution.
• Excellent leadership, commercial awareness, and stakeholder management skills
• Solid understanding of industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Middle East experience is essential; Saudi Arabia experience is highly desirable.
