About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care and follow-up for patients with chronic diseases. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough nursing assessments to deliver both preventive and therapeutic services tailored to each patient's needs. You will play a critical role in ensuring timely and effective medical interventions, maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care and Assessment: Perform detailed nursing assessments and measurements in accordance with the clinic’s patient assessment and reassessment policies. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided, implementing corrective actions as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
• Emergency and Therapeutic Interventions: Deliver rapid and prioritized first aid and nursing care to patients. Administer prescribed injections and treatments, and perform therapeutic nursing procedures delegated by physicians. Properly manage injuries, burns, fractures, and wound dressings to ensure patient comfort and recovery.
• Administrative and Operational Duties: Organize patient entries to physicians based on assigned serial numbers. Maintain accurate statistics for the treatment room and submit reports to the responsible department. Ensure all medical equipment, including oxygen cylinders, defibrillators, suction apparatus, and emergency medical bags, are operational and well-maintained. Verify the readiness of essential ambulance equipment, such as spinal boards and intubation sets.
• Patient Safety and Infection Control: Uphold strict infection control measures to protect patients from infections and accidents. Maintain a clean and safe emergency room environment. Demonstrate awareness of fire hazards and adhere to necessary safety protocols.
• Collaboration and Reporting: Actively participate in patient transfers when required and engage in university events as directed by your supervisor. Report any immediate problems or difficulties encountered during duties to the nursing supervisor without delay. Maintain the confidentiality of all patient records and information.
• Shift and Coverage Responsibilities: Be prepared to cover evening shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Respond to in-call coverage requests as needed and assist in assigned clinics as directed by your supervisor. Perform additional duties as required to support the healthcare team and facility operations.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Institute or College of Nursing.
• Licensure: Must hold a valid nursing license issued by the Saudi Council of Health Specialties.
• Certifications: Must possess a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate, renewed every two years in accordance with the guidelines set by the Saudi Heart Association.
• Skills and Competencies: Demonstrated proficiency in nursing assessments, emergency care, and therapeutic interventions. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical standards in nursing practice.
