Key Responsibilities

The Merchandiser plays a critical role in maximizing on-shelf presence and ensuring optimal product visibility in all assigned outlets. This position is integral to maintaining the integrity of our brand by adhering to planograms and executing in-store merchandising activities with precision. The Merchandiser will collaborate closely with the sales team to support sampling sessions, promotions, and other marketing initiatives as required.

Key accountabilities include:

• Daily Route Execution: Visit designated outlets according to the daily journey plan provided by your supervisor to ensure consistent coverage and execution.
• Merchandising Excellence: Merchandise PepsiCo products (SSFL) across various access points, including shelves, stands, and floor displays, ensuring alignment with approved planograms.
• Point-of-Sale (POS) Material Placement: Strategically place POS materials adjacent to SSFL displays to enhance brand visibility and drive consumer engagement.
• Product Rotation and Maintenance: Rotate stock using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to ensure freshness, and promptly remove any sub-standard or expired products to maintain high-quality standards.
• Competitive Monitoring: Track and report competitive activities to identify opportunities and mitigate risks to our market position.
• Compliance and Reporting: Adhere to all agreed terms with assigned customers and outlets, reporting any deviations or issues to the pre-seller immediately. Provide daily activity reports to your supervisor to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Sampling and Promotions: Participate in sampling and redemption campaigns when required to boost consumer interaction and product trial.
• Professional Conduct: Maintain a professional appearance and behavior in line with PepsiCo’s code of conduct, representing the brand with integrity and enthusiasm.

Performance Measures

The Merchandiser’s performance will be evaluated based on the following key metrics:

• Execution Standard: Consistently meet or exceed merchandising standards to ensure optimal product availability and presentation.
• LTA Enforcement: Strictly enforce Local Trade Agreements (LTA) to maintain compliance with PepsiCo’s policies and customer agreements.
• Journey Plan Adherence: Follow the daily journey plan with precision to maximize efficiency and coverage.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Valid Driving License: Possess a valid driver’s license to travel to assigned outlets efficiently and safely.
