Key Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support for Yokogawa's product portfolio, including the Centum VP system, ProSafe-RS, and PRM.
• Execute on-site commissioning, start-up assistance, and emergency support.
• Manage client inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and resolve them effectively through thorough investigation and analysis.
• Participate in add-on/expansion service projects during engineering, FAT, SAT, and commissioning phases.
• Maintain Yokogawa's product portfolio through preventive and corrective maintenance, hardware and software modifications, and upgrades.
• Implement system modifications and enhancements, both online and offline.
• Uphold customer satisfaction metrics, optimize process uptime, and enhance system performance.
• Provide specialized training sessions to clients upon request.
• Contribute to Yokogawa's service divisions growth initiatives by identifying opportunities for additional services within the existing client base.
• Adapt to varying role locations and durations, including short-term or long-term resident site support engagements.

Qualifications And Experience

• Minimum degree in Instrumentation & Control / Electronics Engineering
• 5 to 8 years of experience in maintaining Yokogawa DCS, Safety System, and Asset Management System, with proficiency in Foundation Fieldbus, Modbus, Profibus, OPC, and networking.
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting, predictive, and preventative maintenance of Yokogawa systems, complemented by extensive site start-up and commissioning experience, preferably within Oil/Gas/Petrochemical/Power plants.
• Flexibility in extensive travel and adeptness in team collaboration, with proficiency in English and additional fluency in Arabic being advantageous.

Competencies & Skills

• Robust understanding of Yokogawa Control system (DCS) & Safety system (ESD) engineering and online maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with safety standards, guidelines, and FSM concepts, with preference for TUV certification.
• Superior troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities, supported by proficiency in various control techniques and optimization methodologies.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with a customer-centric approach and commitment to service excellence.
