Product Specialist - L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Product Specialist – L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty to join our dynamic team in Jeddah. This role is pivotal in driving the success of our dermatological beauty portfolio by providing expert guidance, technical support, and strategic insights to our retail partners, healthcare professionals, and consumers. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of dermatological skincare, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering innovative beauty solutions that enhance skin health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Expertise & Education: Serve as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries, offering comprehensive training and education to retail staff, dermatologists, and consumers on the benefits, formulations, and correct usage of L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty products. Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, clinical studies, and technological advancements to ensure accurate and up-to-date product knowledge.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and R&D, to develop and execute initiatives that drive product awareness, adoption, and sales growth. Collaborate with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and dermatologists to foster trust and credibility in our dermatological solutions.
• Retail & Consumer Engagement: Conduct in-store training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations to educate retail teams and consumers on product efficacy, differentiation, and best practices for skincare routines. Monitor market feedback and consumer insights to identify opportunities for product improvement or innovation.
• Sales Support & Performance Tracking: Work closely with the sales team to provide on-ground support during product launches, promotions, and trade events. Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive landscapes to recommend strategies that optimize product performance and market penetration.
• Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all product-related activities adhere to regulatory standards and L'Oréal’s stringent quality protocols. Address any product-related concerns or complaints promptly and escalate issues to the appropriate departments for resolution.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Cosmetology, Dermatology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in dermatology or skincare science are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in dermatological skincare, preferably within the beauty or pharmaceutical industry. Prior experience in a product specialist, training, or technical sales role is advantageous.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of dermatological conditions, skincare ingredients, and product formulations. Familiarity with clinical studies, regulatory guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex product information clearly and persuasively. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, retail teams, and consumers.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven ability to analyze market data, consumer feedback, and sales performance to drive informed business decisions. A proactive approach to identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Arabic is required. Additional languages are a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with CRM or sales analytics tools.
