Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Stand By Man to join our Onshore Operations team within the Onshore Projects in Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for supporting safe and efficient site operations by ensuring strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements. Your vigilance and proactive approach will be instrumental in maintaining a secure working environment, monitoring work activities, and fostering a strong safety culture across site teams. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to complex projects while upholding the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor ongoing work activities to ensure full compliance with HSE procedures and company standards, mitigating risks and preventing incidents.
• Provide essential support to supervisors and work crews during daily onshore operations, facilitating smooth and efficient execution of tasks.
• Identify and promptly report unsafe conditions, potential hazards, or deviations from safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure worksite.
• Assist in maintaining safe access routes, optimal housekeeping, and overall worksite readiness to uphold operational efficiency and safety.
• Champion a robust safety culture by promoting awareness, adherence to safety protocols, and effective communication among all site personnel.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment with project objectives and safety goals.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or High School Certificate in a relevant discipline, such as Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience as a Stand By Man or in a similar support role within the Oil & Gas, Energy, Construction, or Industrial sectors.
• Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Arabic is considered an advantage and will enhance your ability to communicate effectively within the local context.
• Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of HSE procedures, Permit to Work (PTW) systems, site safety practices, hazard identification, and risk assessment methodologies. Strong communication skills are essential to convey safety protocols and concerns clearly to all stakeholders.

Additional Details

This role may require occasional travel within Saudi Arabia to support onshore projects.
