Key Responsibilities

• Guest Safety and Supervision: Monitor pool areas diligently to prevent accidents, respond promptly to emergencies, and enforce safety protocols to protect guests of all ages.
• Pool and Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of pool facilities, water quality, and associated equipment to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Customer Service Excellence: Provide a welcoming and professional presence, addressing guest inquiries, offering assistance, and maintaining a serene atmosphere throughout the pool area.
• Emergency Response: Act decisively in emergency situations, administering first aid when necessary and coordinating with medical personnel or security teams to mitigate risks and ensure guest well-being.
• Operational Support: Collaborate with the spa and wellness team to align pool operations with broader facility goals, ensuring seamless integration with other services offered at Grand Hyatt The Red Sea.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Certification: Hold an internationally recognized lifeguard certification, such as the Gold Standard Lifeguard Certification, demonstrating your proficiency in water safety and rescue techniques.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a related field, such as a fitness instructor, wellness consultant, or aquatic safety professional, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality service.
• Physical Fitness: Maintain peak physical condition to perform rescue operations efficiently and respond to emergencies with agility and precision.
• Communication Skills: Exhibit exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication abilities to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and emergency responders.
• Certifications: Additional certifications in CPR, First Aid, or AED are highly desirable and may be required as part of the role.
