Pool & Beach Attendant

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Pool & Beach Attendant to join our team at a premier luxury resort. Key Responsibilities

• Facility Maintenance: Perform thorough cleaning duties, including washing, mopping, and sanitizing the pool deck to meet the resort’s impeccable hygiene standards. Ensure all recreational areas are well-maintained and visually appealing to guests.
• Guest Engagement & Safety: Foster a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere by greeting guests with enthusiasm and professionalism. Actively monitor pool and beach activities to promptly address any safety concerns or emergencies in accordance with established protocols. Promote facility rules and regulations to ensure a secure environment for all visitors.
• Guest Assistance & Emergency Response: Provide attentive support to guests, including those with disabilities or injuries. Offer immediate assistance in emergencies, such as administering first aid or coordinating with medical services until they arrive. Maintain a calm and composed demeanor under pressure to reassure guests during unexpected situations.
• Operational Support: Efficiently manage towel distribution by obtaining, folding, and stacking towels in compliance with company procedures. Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management and participate in mandatory safety training and certifications.
• Hospitality Excellence: Deliver personalized service by anticipating and addressing guest needs. Express genuine appreciation to visitors upon their departure to leave a lasting positive impression. Uphold the resort’s confidentiality policies and protect company assets at all times.
• Team Collaboration & Professionalism: Develop and nurture positive working relationships with colleagues across departments to ensure seamless operations. Adhere to company policies, maintain a polished uniform, and communicate with clarity and professionalism. Contribute to a culture of excellence by complying with quality assurance standards and performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certifications are mandatory. Additional certifications or training may be required based on local and state regulations.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 25 pounds without assistance. Capable of performing tasks that require fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and mobility on various surfaces, including stairs and ramps.
• Experience: While prior experience is not required, a background in hospitality, recreation, or customer service is highly desirable. A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences is essential.
