Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team at HanmiGlobal Saudi, based in Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing mechanical engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities

• Project Oversight: Lead and supervise mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and other stakeholders, to achieve project objectives.
• Technical Expertise: Apply advanced mechanical engineering principles to design, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems, components, and processes. Utilize industry-leading software and tools to develop robust solutions that enhance efficiency, sustainability, and performance.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all mechanical engineering work complies with local, national, and international regulations, codes, and safety standards. Conduct thorough inspections, risk assessments, and audits to mitigate potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
• Client Engagement: Act as the primary technical liaison between HanmiGlobal Saudi and our clients, providing expert advice, recommendations, and solutions tailored to their specific requirements. Build and maintain strong professional relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
• Innovation and Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance mechanical systems, reduce operational costs, and improve sustainability. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in the mechanical engineering field.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, specifications, and documentation to support project deliverables. Maintain accurate records of project progress, challenges, and resolutions for internal and client review.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record in project management and technical leadership. Experience in the construction, oil & gas, or industrial sectors is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Profound knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, including HVAC systems, piping, machinery design, and thermal dynamics. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit), BIM tools, and simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, SolidWorks) is essential.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and manage diverse teams effectively.
• Certifications: Valid professional engineering license or relevant certifications in mechanical engineering are advantageous.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
