Technical Engineering Clerk

The Technical Engineering Clerk is a pivotal role that ensures the smooth operation of the department by providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Department Head. This position requires a high level of organization, exceptional communication skills, and proficiency in English.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing administrative and clerical support to the Department Head.
• Maintaining timekeeping, filing systems, and employee records.
• Processing leave requests, expense reimbursements, vendor payments, gate passes, and other administrative transactions.
• Preparing reports, letters, meeting minutes, and routine correspondence.
• Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
• Handling incoming calls, visitors, emails, and correspondence.
• Reviewing, editing, and formatting documents as required.
• Maintaining office supplies, office equipment, and administrative procedures.
• Coordinating communication between the Department Head, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Performing other administrative duties as assigned by the Department Head.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

• A Diploma in Business Administration, Office Administration, Secretarial Studies, Accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Marketing.
• 5-8 years of relevant administrative or clerical experience.
• Proficiency in English (mandatory).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong document management and administrative coordination skills.
