Strategic Alliance Manager - Middle East

Novumgen, a leading global specialty pharmaceutical and biological company, seeks a dynamic Strategic Alliance Manager to drive our Middle East business, with a primary focus on Saudi Arabia and the UAE. This role is pivotal in achieving our commercial, strategic, regulatory, and operational objectives.

The successful candidate will own the territory P&L, annual budget delivery, business development initiatives, alliance management, product launch execution, and portfolio expansion activities. They will serve as the key interface between regional partners and internal cross-functional teams to ensure revenue targets, regulatory submissions and approvals, timely launches, supply continuity, and long-term growth.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Own and manage the full P&L responsibility for the Middle East territory.
  • Deliver annual revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, and profitability targets.
  • Develop and execute annual territory business plans and budgets.
  • Drive sales forecasts, launch targets, market share objectives, and portfolio growth initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams for successful product launches.
  • Develop strategies for government tenders, institutional business, and procurement opportunities.
  • Represent Novumgen at industry events and build strategic networks.
  • Promote the company's brand, capabilities, and portfolio throughout the region.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in business development, partnership management, or strategic alliances within the pharmaceutical or generics industry.
  • Proven track record of negotiating and managing complex agreements.
  • Strong understanding of the generic medicines market and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Skills and Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical markets in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and broader GCC region.
  • Strong understanding of regional and international regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience in product registration strategies, submission planning, and launch execution.
  • Familiarity with government tenders, pricing approvals, and market access pathways.
  • Strong financial analysis and business case development capabilities.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with global sourcing models, CDMO partnerships, and international supply chain strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business analytics tools.
