Core Responsibilities

The IT Restaurant Applications Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of critical restaurant applications and infrastructure, including:

• System Management: Oversee the implementation, integration, optimization, and performance of enterprise restaurant systems such as POS, ERP, HRMS, CRM, and AI-driven platforms to ensure seamless operations across all branches.
• System Integrations: Manage complex integrations between finance, HR, loyalty programs, payment gateways, and delivery aggregators to create a unified and efficient technology ecosystem.
• Performance & Reliability: Ensure high availability, uptime, and system reliability for all restaurant applications, while monitoring performance metrics and addressing potential issues proactively.
• IT Security & Compliance: Lead initiatives related to IT security, access management, data governance, and compliance with industry standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and Saudi PDPL regulations.
• AI & Analytics: Drive the adoption of AI-enabled forecasting, labor optimization, and customer analytics to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Infrastructure & Cloud Management: Oversee IT infrastructure, cloud environments (Azure/AWS), backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity and scalability.
• Project Leadership: Lead new restaurant IT setups, system rollouts, upgrades, and data migration projects from planning to execution, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Technical Support & SLA Compliance: Manage technical support operations, incident resolution, and business continuity coverage to maintain high service levels and operational stability.
• Vendor & Contract Management: Oversee vendor relationships, contract performance, IT governance, and KPI reporting to ensure cost-effective and high-quality technology solutions.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic technology roadmaps, budgeting, and technology planning to support the organization’s long-term growth and innovation goals.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role overseeing enterprise applications and infrastructure in a multi-location environment.
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience with restaurant technology systems, including POS, ERP, HRMS, and CRM solutions, as well as hands-on expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and reporting tools (Power BI).
• Integration & Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of system integrations, payment gateways, delivery aggregator platforms, and compliance with IT governance frameworks such as ITIL, cybersecurity best practices, and regulatory standards (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, Saudi PDPL).
• Certifications: Professional certifications in ITIL, PMP, Microsoft, AWS, or cybersecurity are highly advantageous.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, vendor negotiation, and project execution skills to drive cross-functional collaboration and deliver results.
