About the Role

Our client, a leading financial services organisation based in Jeddah, is seeking a visionary Chief Digital Officer (CDO) to spearhead its technology and digital transformation agenda as part of a bold five-year growth strategy. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital and technology strategy that aligns with the organisation’s long-term business objectives, ensuring seamless integration across all functions and departments.
• Digital Transformation: Lead and oversee enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, driving efficiency, scalability, and innovation through the adoption of advanced technologies such as AI, automation, robotics, and other emerging solutions.
• Technology Implementation: Spearhead the deployment of next-generation technology platforms and digital solutions, ensuring they deliver measurable value in terms of customer experience, operational agility, and business growth.
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing technology function, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement to support the organisation’s evolving needs.
• Executive Collaboration: Partner closely with the CEO, Executive Committee, and Board to align technology initiatives with strategic business priorities, ensuring robust governance and risk management frameworks are in place.
• Cybersecurity & Resilience: Oversee the implementation of robust technology, cybersecurity, and business continuity frameworks to safeguard the organisation’s digital assets and ensure uninterrupted operations in alignment with regulatory and industry standards.
• Innovation & Culture: Cultivate a forward-thinking organisational culture that embraces innovation, experimentation, and adaptability, positioning the company as a leader in digital financial services.

Qualifications & Experience

• Leadership: Minimum of 12 years of progressive leadership experience within technology, with at least 5 years in a C-level executive role such as Chief Information Officer (CIO), Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Chief Digital Officer (CDO), or equivalent.
• Transformation Expertise: Proven track record of successfully leading enterprise-wide digital transformation programmes, with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and customer-centric outcomes.
• Technology Proficiency: Hands-on experience in implementing AI, automation, robotics, and modern digital platforms, with a deep understanding of their strategic and operational implications.
• Commercial Acumen: Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex technology initiatives into tangible value for the organisation, aligning digital strategy with overarching business goals.
• Industry Knowledge: Prior experience within financial services, FinTech, or other regulated environments is highly desirable, ensuring compliance with industry-specific standards and best practices.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
