Recreation Experience Expert

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Recreation Experience Expert to join our team at Shura Island, The Red Sea. In this role, you will serve as the primary resource for all recreational activities across our world-class facilities, including swimming pools, beaches, entertainment zones, game rooms, fitness centers, and children’s activity centers. Your expertise will drive guest engagement, promote well-being, and ensure seamless experiences in a luxurious hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Engagement & Activity Facilitation: Provide detailed information about available recreational facilities and activities, encouraging guests to participate in programs that enhance their stay. Assist with registrations, scheduling, and coordination to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
• Safety & Compliance: Promote and enforce the resort’s safety rules and regulations to ensure the well-being of all guests. Monitor activities within recreational areas, identify potential hazards, and report unsafe conditions or incidents to management immediately. Respond to emergencies in accordance with established protocols, providing first aid assistance until professional medical services arrive.
• Facility & Equipment Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and functionality of recreational spaces, equipment, and supplies. Conduct routine inspections to ensure optimal conditions for guest use.
• Transaction & Service Support: Process payments for rental equipment, recreational activities, facility rentals, and retail sales where applicable. Provide exceptional cashier services with accuracy and professionalism.
• Event & Group Coordination: Assist in organizing and supporting group activities, events, and private functions within recreational facilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver memorable experiences.
• Professional Conduct & Compliance: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards of appearance. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and safeguard company assets. Complete required safety training and certifications to uphold operational excellence.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and colleagues to identify opportunities for service improvement and innovation. Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with Marriott International’s commitment to diversity and equal opportunity.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a passionate and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment.
