Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Bartender to join our team at EDITION, a distinguished boutique hotel brand under the Marriott International umbrella. Key Responsibilities

• Guest Engagement: Provide personalized and attentive service to every guest, ensuring their experience is memorable and exceeds expectations. Build rapport by understanding individual preferences and tailoring recommendations accordingly.
• Cocktail Crafting: Prepare and serve a diverse range of high-quality cocktails, mocktails, and beverages using premium ingredients. Stay updated on industry trends and seasonal offerings to introduce innovative and visually appealing drinks.
• Operational Excellence: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar area in compliance with health and safety standards. Manage inventory, restock supplies, and ensure all equipment is functioning optimally.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the food and beverage team, including servers, managers, and kitchen staff, to ensure seamless operations and a cohesive guest experience. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to uphold the brand’s standards.
• Brand Representation: Embrace the EDITION philosophy of blending luxury, creativity, and individuality. Represent the brand’s values of exclusivity, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in every interaction.
• Upselling and Revenue Management: Promote premium beverages and special promotions to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue. Utilize suggestive selling techniques to introduce high-margin items while maintaining a consultative approach.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bartender in a high-volume or upscale hospitality environment. Prior experience in boutique hotels, lounges, or premium bars is highly desirable.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage trends. Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage guests from diverse backgrounds. Strong multitasking abilities and a keen eye for detail are essential.
• Certifications: Valid bartending license or certification, where applicable. Responsible Alcohol Service certification is preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 pounds, and work in a dynamic environment with varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
