Job Summary

As the IT Section Head, you will play a pivotal role in leading the technical support team, ensuring the seamless delivery of exceptional customer service while resolving complex technical issues. Your responsibilities will encompass the oversight and maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, software, email systems, and internet connectivity, to guarantee optimal performance and high availability.

Key Responsibilities

• IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, software, email systems, and internet connectivity, ensuring uninterrupted operations and peak performance.
• Technical Support Leadership: Lead the IT operations team by providing timely and effective technical support, resolving system issues proactively, and implementing preventive measures to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
• IT Policies and Security: Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive IT policies, security controls, and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity, ensure confidentiality, maintain regulatory compliance, and uphold business continuity.
• Project and Digital Transformation: Plan, manage, and execute IT projects, digital transformation initiatives, and system upgrades in alignment with organizational objectives and budgetary constraints to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Budget and Vendor Management: Responsibly manage the IT budget, oversee procurement activities, cultivate strong vendor relationships, and optimize technology investments to deliver cost-effective and high-performance solutions.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team by setting clear priorities, monitoring performance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business units to identify evolving technology requirements, recommend tailored solutions, and enhance operational efficiency across the organization.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor system performance, analyze trends, conduct periodic audits, and prepare detailed reports on IT operations, security protocols, compliance adherence, and key performance indicators to inform strategic decision-making.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to company policies, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements, applicable regulations, and industry standards while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality in all IT-related activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, compliant with local regulatory standards.
• A minimum of eight years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure management, technical support, and leadership roles.
• Fluency in written, spoken, and read Arabic and English, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in HR systems, manufacturing and quality systems, SQL, Oracle, GMP, and project management methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including networking, server management, and enterprise-level system administration.
