Engineer III

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer III to join our team at Ummahat Island 1, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our facilities by addressing guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and upholding the highest standards of safety and service excellence. This position requires a proactive approach, strong technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest and Client Interaction: Respond promptly to guest and client maintenance requests, communicating professionally to resolve issues efficiently. Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive service, including assistance for individuals with disabilities, while maintaining a polished and professional appearance.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on tools, equipment, and machinery, including cleaning, lubrication, and visual inspections. Ensure all systems are operational and safe for use, identifying potential issues before they escalate.
• Equipment and Safety Compliance: Operate, inspect, and maintain all equipment, including identifying and operating shut-off valves. Adhere strictly to company safety policies and procedures, reporting hazards, accidents, or injuries immediately. Participate in safety training and obtain relevant certifications to uphold a secure work environment.
• Inventory and Supply Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of maintenance supplies and equipment. Procure necessary parts and materials to ensure uninterrupted operations, and store flammable materials safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Documentation and Reporting: Record incomplete maintenance tasks during shift changes and document all maintenance activities for accountability and future reference. Ensure confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Team Collaboration and Professionalism: Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and support team objectives. Address employee concerns with professionalism and clarity, contributing to a cohesive and productive work environment. Uphold the company’s standards of quality and service excellence in all interactions.
• Physical Demands: Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, moving, pushing, pulling, and positioning objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Navigate stairs, ramps, and ladders, and execute tasks requiring bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching in various positions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Technical, trade, or vocational school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in engineering or facilities maintenance. Supervisory experience is not required.
• Certifications: Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• Skills: Strong technical aptitude, problem-solving abilities, and a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
