Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at Loffel Friets Restaurant in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, on-site position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about coffee, customer service, and maintaining high operational standards. As a Barista, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and serving premium beverages while ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include operating espresso machines and other specialized equipment, preparing coffee and specialty drinks according to precise recipes, and assisting with light food preparation as needed. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene protocols, and collaborating with the restaurant team to deliver efficient service during peak hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Beverage Preparation: Expertly operate espresso machines and other equipment to prepare a variety of coffee-based and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
• Customer Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, taking orders, processing payments, and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Food Preparation: Assist with the preparation of light snacks or accompaniments, maintaining high standards of freshness and presentation.
• Workstation Maintenance: Keep your work area clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies, while adhering to food safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations, particularly during busy periods, and support colleagues to maintain a cohesive and efficient team environment.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and restock beverage and food supplies as needed to meet customer demand and minimize waste.
• Operational Support: Assist with cash handling, POS system operations, and order accuracy to ensure a seamless transaction process for guests.

Qualifications and Skills

• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in beverage preparation, espresso machine operation, and basic food preparation techniques.
