Key Responsibilities

The Logistics Manager – Night Shift will be responsible for overseeing all operational activities within the assigned depots during night hours. This includes managing product receiving and dispatch, minimizing depot losses, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will:

• Ensure Compliance and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by strictly adhering to Almarai’s Health & Safety standards, QSHE policies, and all related safety protocols. Regularly monitor and document safety records to ensure full compliance.
• Optimize Warehouse Operations: Oversee all warehouse activities, including stock rotation, space utilization, and inventory management, to ensure products are stored and distributed efficiently. Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage Stock Levels: Ensure optimal stock availability across depots by monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with supply chain teams, and implementing strategies to minimize losses and waste. Maintain proper stock rotation to uphold product freshness and quality.
• Enforce SOPs and Quality Policies: Implement and monitor adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Almarai’s Quality policies to guarantee consistency in warehouse operations. Address any deviations promptly to maintain operational excellence.
• Lead and Develop Teams: Supervise and mentor a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support to ensure team members meet performance targets and contribute to depot objectives.
• Maintain Depot Hygiene: Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the depot to comply with food safety regulations and Almarai’s quality benchmarks. Conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify any sanitation issues.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity within an FMCG warehouse environment, with a proven track record of leading teams and optimizing logistics operations.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential to effectively communicate with stakeholders, report findings, and ensure alignment with company policies.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking tools is highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and drive continuous improvement.
• Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on team development, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey instructions and updates clearly.
