Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. In this role, you will serve as the face of our brand, delivering an exceptional shopping experience that drives sales and fosters customer loyalty. Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

The Sales Associate will be responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for customers, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and enthusiasm. Your duties will include:

• Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that best suit their preferences and needs.
• Sales Conversion: Transform browsing customers into satisfied buyers through persuasive yet genuine interactions.
• Loyalty Program Promotion: Actively promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to encourage repeat business and customer retention.
• Selling Process Adherence: Follow the company’s structured selling approach—GUEST (Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank)—to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date awareness of the diverse brands within our portfolio to provide informed recommendations and enhance the shopping experience.

Store Operations & Merchandising

To uphold the brand’s visual appeal and operational efficiency, the Sales Associate will be tasked with:

• Store Presentation: Ensure merchandise is neatly displayed and organized according to visual merchandising (VM) guidelines and standard layout norms to attract and engage customers.
• Inventory Management: Accurately record inventory movements, including inward and outward stock, and maintain detailed reports to support efficient stock control.
• Stock Clearance Compliance: Adhere to clearance stock norms and ensure all promotional and seasonal displays are executed as per company standards.

Point of Sale (POS) & Financial Responsibilities

The Sales Associate will handle all transactions with precision and professionalism, including:

• POS Operations: Operate the Point of Sale system efficiently to process payments via cash, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits, ensuring accuracy and speed.
• Cash Handling: Verify and tally cash in the till at the beginning and end of each shift, maintaining accountability and minimizing discrepancies.
• Receipts & Refunds: Issue receipts, process refunds, and provide change to customers with meticulous attention to detail.
• Security Awareness: Remain vigilant to prevent theft or fraud, adhering to loss prevention policies and maintaining a secure shopping environment.

Professional Conduct & Flexibility

To succeed in this role, the Sales Associate must demonstrate:

• Grooming & Professionalism: Maintain a polished and presentable appearance at all times, reflecting the brand’s image.
• Product Knowledge & Loss Prevention: Stay informed about product features, benefits, and pricing to minimize stock loss and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Shift Flexibility: Exhibit adaptability to work varied shifts, including extended hours during peak sales periods, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs.
• Confidentiality & Compliance: Uphold strict confidentiality regarding sales figures and sensitive operational data, ensuring compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven individual with a passion for retail and customer service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Prior retail experience is advantageous but not mandatory, as we provide comprehensive training to ensure success in this role.
