Assistant Manager, Executive Medical Representation
الوصف الوظيفي
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and ethical professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager, Executive Medical Representation in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to medical and paramedical professionals, ensuring the accurate and responsible promotion of Nestlé Infant Nutrition products. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver precise information about these products, their features, benefits, and appropriate usage—particularly in cases where breastfeeding is not feasible or chosen by mothers—while strictly adhering to the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk Substitutes, Nestlé’s internal guidelines, and local regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Ethical Promotion and Education: Champion Nestlé’s core belief that breastfeeding is the optimal choice for infants and that breast milk substitutes should only be used when medically necessary or preferred by the mother. Provide evidence-based information on infant nutrition and feeding practices tailored to the needs of medical and paramedical contacts.
- Scientific Engagement: Organize and facilitate high-impact medical and paramedical meetings focused on product knowledge, nutrition, and related scientific topics. This includes coordinating sponsorships, inviting guest lecturers, and ensuring these events align with ethical and regulatory standards.
- Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis: Monitor and report on competitor activities within your assigned territory, including the introduction of new products, communication strategies, and market trends. This insight will be critical in maintaining Nestlé’s competitive edge while upholding ethical standards.
- Administrative Excellence: Maintain meticulous records of all correspondence, interactions, and actions taken during daily activities. Ensure compliance with documentation requirements and regulatory obligations.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive master list of contacts within your territory, categorizing them based on their level of interest and importance. Regularly update call cards to reflect interactions and ensure no opportunity is overlooked.
Qualifications and Experience
To excel in this role, you must possess a strong educational background in a relevant scientific field, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Medicine, Nutrition, or Biology. While prior experience as a Medical Delegate is advantageous, we also welcome candidates who demonstrate a passion for ethical medical representation and a commitment to advancing infant nutrition through evidence-based practices.
Ideal candidates will exhibit exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of medical ethics, and the ability to build trust with healthcare professionals. Fluency in Arabic and English is highly desirable, as is a proactive approach to professional development and continuous learning.
