Key Responsibilities

The Occupational Health & Safety Officer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of all employees, patients, and visitors across Bnoon’s facilities. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional capable of upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance. The primary responsibilities include:

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring strict adherence to occupational health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures across all Bnoon facilities, including adherence to JCI and CBAHI standards where applicable.
• Workplace Assessments: Conducting regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures to mitigate risks.
• Incident Management: Investigating accidents, near misses, and safety incidents, and developing comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Safety Program Oversight: Monitoring the implementation of safety programs and ensuring all employees follow approved safety protocols and procedures.
• Training & Awareness: Designing and delivering engaging safety awareness campaigns and training sessions to foster a culture of safety among employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining meticulous records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and corrective actions to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Safety Culture Promotion: Championing a positive safety culture by encouraging proactive reporting of unsafe conditions, practices, or equipment and ensuring timely resolution.
• Emergency Preparedness: Supporting the development and execution of emergency preparedness plans, including drills and response strategies to ensure readiness for any contingencies.

Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the necessary experience:

• Nationality: Saudi national.
• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a closely related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in occupational health and safety, with a preference for candidates with prior experience in the healthcare sector.
• Certifications: Relevant occupational health and safety certifications, such as NEBOSH and OSHA, are mandatory.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of occupational health and safety regulations, risk assessment methodologies, incident investigation techniques, and industry best practices.
• Cultural Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in a multicultural work environment, fostering collaboration and communication across diverse teams.
• Language Proficiency: Strong command of written and spoken English to effectively communicate safety protocols and training materials.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, reporting, and organizational skills to drive safety initiatives and ensure compliance across all levels of the organization.
