Position Overview

The Regional Quality Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of quality systems across the regions. This position encompasses responsibilities related to the receipt, inspection, handling, storage, sale, and delivery of high-quality products, with a primary focus on meeting consumer and customer expectations. The role involves implementing robust quality procedures, conducting training sessions, performing audits, generating reports, reviewing processes, and recommending corrective actions. Additionally, the coordinator will be responsible for updating procedures and SQA forms, conducting continuous improvement analyses, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems in alignment with regional and corporate standards.
• Oversee the receipt, inspection, handling, storage, and delivery of products to ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance with quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory requirements.
• Provide training and guidance to personnel on quality procedures, food hygiene, and product handling best practices.
• Prepare detailed reports on quality performance, audit findings, and corrective actions, presenting them to senior management as required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in product quality and process efficiency.
• Update and maintain SQA forms, procedures, and documentation to reflect current standards and regulatory changes.
• Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality non-conformances and enhance overall system effectiveness.
• Ensure that all quality-related activities align with Almarai’s strategic objectives and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A degree in Poultry Technology, Poultry Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in Poultry Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Fluency in both English and Arabic, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using standard computer applications and software relevant to quality management.
• A valid driving license from the candidate’s country of origin.

The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of product composition, quality standards, proper product handling techniques, and food hygiene practices. Additionally, they should demonstrate expertise in system implementation, evaluation, and upgrading, along with strong report-writing abilities.
