Key Responsibilities

The Engineer III will be responsible for a wide range of duties to maintain the operational integrity of our facilities. These responsibilities include:

• Client-Centric Maintenance: Respond promptly and attentively to client repair requests, communicating effectively to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues with minimal disruption.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of tools, equipment, and machinery to prevent breakdowns and extend their lifespan.
• Equipment Operations: Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machinery to identify potential issues. Operate and manage all equipment shut-off valves to ensure safety and functionality.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory levels. Procure necessary parts and supplies to support ongoing operations.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures, reporting any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries. Participate in required safety training and certification programs. Properly store flammable materials and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Professional Conduct: Maintain a clean, complete uniform and a polished appearance at all times. Uphold the confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by collaborating effectively with peers and addressing their concerns with professionalism.
• Guest Interaction: Greet and receive guests in accordance with St. Regis’ renowned standards, anticipating their needs and providing assistance, particularly to individuals with disabilities. Express gratitude and ensure a warm, welcoming experience for all visitors.
• Physical Demands: Perform tasks requiring lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving loads up to 23 kilograms independently. Navigate stairs, service access points, and ladders. Execute bending, twisting, pulling, and kneeling movements as required to complete maintenance activities.
• Additional Duties: Fulfill any other tasks assigned by management that align with the role’s responsibilities and contribute to the overall success of the facility.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Education: Possess a diploma from a technical, vocational, or professional educational institution.
• Experience: Have a minimum of two years of relevant work experience in a technical or maintenance capacity.
• Certifications: Hold a valid driver’s license to support mobility requirements for the role.
• Language Proficiency: Demonstrate clear and courteous communication skills in both written and verbal English.
