Your Mission

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of the Mathematics Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning experiences. Your responsibilities will include:

• Curriculum Leadership: Spearhead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a rigorous and engaging mathematics curriculum that aligns with international standards and meets the diverse needs of our student body.
• Departmental Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of dedicated mathematics educators, fostering a culture of collaboration, professional growth, and accountability to achieve outstanding academic outcomes.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to set long-term goals for the department, including resource allocation, staffing, and technology integration to enhance teaching and learning.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate teaching practices, student performance, and departmental processes to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to educational best practices.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents, students, and external stakeholders to promote the value of mathematics education and foster a supportive learning community.

Your Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will bring a wealth of experience and expertise in mathematics education and leadership. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a closely related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional qualification is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of eight years of relevant teaching experience, with at least three years in a leadership capacity such as Head of Department, middle leadership, or senior departmental roles.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, drive change, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in Arabic is an added advantage.
• Technological Proficiency: Strong IT skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with project management tools, ERP systems, or school management platforms is a plus.
