Key Responsibilities

The Regional QSHE Coordinator (Sales) will serve as the primary point of contact for QSHE-related matters within the sales function, collaborating closely with regional teams to uphold and enhance our standards. Your core responsibilities will include:

• QSHE Compliance and Implementation: Develop, review, and enforce QSHE policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with local and international regulations, ensuring full compliance across all sales activities.
• Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards in sales operations, proposing and implementing corrective and preventive measures to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.
• Training and Awareness: Organize and deliver comprehensive QSHE training programs for sales teams, fostering a culture of safety awareness and ensuring all employees are equipped with the knowledge to adhere to best practices.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track and analyze QSHE performance metrics, preparing detailed reports for management to highlight trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation in safety and environmental sustainability.
• Incident Investigation and Response: Lead investigations into QSHE-related incidents, including near-misses and accidents, to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and procurement, to integrate QSHE principles into sales processes and ensure alignment with corporate sustainability goals.
• Regulatory Liaison: Act as the liaison between Almarai and regulatory bodies, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of QSHE-related data and responding to inquiries or audits with professionalism and expertise.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by staying abreast of industry best practices, emerging regulations, and technological advancements in QSHE management, and recommending enhancements to existing processes.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a strong academic background and relevant professional experience in QSHE management, preferably within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or food industry. The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in QSHE coordination or a similar role, with a proven track record in implementing and managing safety and environmental programs.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 9001 (Quality Management) standards, along with familiarity with local and international regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex QSHE concepts clearly and effectively.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for driving positive change and fostering a culture of safety and sustainability.
