Director of Finance - A

The Director of Finance - A serves as the strategic financial business leader for the property, driving initiatives that meet and exceed the brand's target customer and employee expectations while maximizing return on investment. This role is responsible for creating and executing a business plan aligned with the property and brand's strategy, focusing on financial activities and delivering desirable financial results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning and Decision Making
• Develops strategies to improve profit, including cost and benefit estimation and new business opportunity exploration.
• Analyzes information, forecasts sales, and creates annual budget plans.
• Monitors actual sales against projected sales and identifies budget planning efficiencies.
• Analyzes financial data and market trends to inform business decisions.
• Leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive annual business plan.
• Leading Finance Teams
• Utilizes strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others.
• Communicates strategic goals and priorities to subordinates and influences the executive team.
• Oversees internal, external, and regulatory audit processes.
• Provides excellent leadership by assigning clear accountability and conducting annual performance appraisals.
• Anticipating and Delivering on the Needs of Key Stakeholders
• Attends meetings with owners, understanding their priorities and strategic focus.
• Advises the GM and executive committee on operating/financial issues.
• Communicates financial concepts clearly and persuasively to drive desired behaviors.

Qualifications:

• 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major with 3 years of experience, or
• Master's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major with 1 year of experience.
