Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Supervisor-Marketing to join our team at Four Points by Sheraton in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in enhancing our brand’s visibility both internally and externally while driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with potential owners, schedule preview package sales tours, and ensure a seamless experience that aligns with Marriott’s commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities
As a Supervisor-Marketing, your core duties will include:
- Brand Promotion and Sales: Actively promote the brand’s image through targeted marketing strategies and sales techniques designed to maximize revenue while maintaining and enhancing guest loyalty to Marriott properties.
- Lead Generation and Customer Engagement: Communicate with potential owners via telephone to arrange preview package sales tours. Effectively explain the benefits, details, and requirements of attending a sales presentation, ensuring clarity and engagement throughout the process.
- Eligibility Verification: Assess and confirm that individuals meet the necessary criteria for participating in preview package sales tours prior to scheduling their visit to a Marriott Vacation Club property.
- Guest Relations and Incentives: Recognize and reward guest patronage by offering complimentaries such as rewards points or show tickets, fostering a positive and lasting impression of the brand.
- Administrative Support: Perform essential office duties, including filing, email correspondence, typing, and faxing, to ensure the smooth operation of the Sales & Marketing department.
- Communication and Messaging: Accurately receive, record, and relay messages, maintaining clear and professional communication channels with guests, team members, and management.
- Team Leadership and Development: Assist management in training, evaluating, and motivating team members, serving as a role model and the first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Provide coaching and support to enhance individual and team performance.
- Operational Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional appearance, maintaining confidentiality, and protecting the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
- Guest Experience Enhancement: Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate their service needs, and express genuine appreciation for their patronage. Use clear and professional language in all interactions and prepare accurate written documentation.
- Team Collaboration: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting team efforts to achieve common goals. Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, contributing to the overall success of the property and the Marriott brand.
- Physical Requirements: Perform tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance, as required by the role.
- Additional Duties: Undertake other reasonable job responsibilities as requested by supervisors to support the goals and objectives of the department and the organization.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Education: A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
- Experience: A minimum of one year of related work experience in sales, marketing, or a customer-facing role is preferred.
- Supervisory Experience: While prior supervisory experience is not mandatory, the ability to lead, mentor, and support a team is highly valued.
- Certifications/Licenses: No specific certifications or licenses are required for this position.
