Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

As an Engineer III, your core responsibilities will include:

• Client-Centric Maintenance: Respond promptly and effectively to client repair requests, maintaining clear and courteous communication to resolve maintenance issues efficiently. Your ability to anticipate and address client needs will enhance their overall satisfaction and loyalty.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of tools, equipment, and machinery to prevent breakdowns and extend their operational lifespan. Perform visual checks to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Equipment and System Management: Operate, locate, and manage all equipment shut-off valves to ensure safety and compliance with operational protocols. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and pending tasks to facilitate smooth transitions between shifts.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere rigorously to all safety policies and procedures, including proper storage of flammable materials and immediate reporting of hazards, accidents, or safety concerns. Participate in required safety training and certification programs to uphold the highest standards of workplace safety.
• Professional Conduct and Appearance: Maintain a clean, complete uniform and a polished professional appearance at all times. Handle confidential company and client information with the utmost discretion, and protect company assets from misuse or damage.
• Guest Service Excellence: Greet and welcome guests in accordance with St. Regis’ renowned standards, anticipating their needs and providing assistance, particularly to individuals with disabilities. Express gratitude and ensure a warm, inviting atmosphere that aligns with the brand’s legacy of personalized service.
• Team Collaboration: Foster positive, constructive relationships with colleagues, offering support and collaboration to achieve shared goals. Address employee concerns with empathy and professionalism, and communicate clearly and respectfully in all interactions.
• Physical Demands: Perform essential physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 23 kilograms independently. Navigate stairs, service access points, and ladders, and execute bending, twisting, and kneeling motions to access confined or elevated spaces. Adaptability and physical stamina are critical to success in this role.
• Additional Duties: Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by management that fall within the scope of this position, ensuring alignment with the company’s operational and quality standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Possess a diploma from a technical, vocational, or professional institution, providing a solid foundation in engineering principles and practices.
• Experience: Demonstrate at least two years of relevant work experience in a maintenance or engineering capacity, with a proven track record of troubleshooting and repair.
• Certifications: Hold a valid driver’s license to facilitate mobility and operational tasks as required.
