Key Responsibilities

As a member of our Aquatics team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and safety of Aquarabia Water Theme Park. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of critical functions, including:

• Operational and Attraction Management: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive operational and attraction-specific documents and workflows to support the day-to-day activities of the park, ensuring efficiency and adherence to best practices.
• Guest and Colleague Safety: Champion a culture of safety by overseeing the well-being of all guests and colleagues within the park. This includes a steadfast commitment to achieving zero drownings and preventing any loss of life due to drowning incidents.
• Risk Management and Compliance: Uphold rigorous aquatic risk management standards, aligning with Qiddiya’s core values, mission statement, and both local and international regulatory requirements. Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and address feedback to enhance the overall guest experience.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies within the scope of your certification and training, ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals on-site.
• Guest Assistance: Provide compassionate support to guests experiencing issues such as lost parties, separation from children, or misplaced property, ensuring their concerns are resolved with care and efficiency.
• Public Relations and Marketing: Participate in public relations and marketing initiatives to promote Aquarabia Water Theme Park, fostering a positive reputation and attracting a diverse range of visitors.
• Audit Representation: Act as a representative of the park during internal and external audits, demonstrating operational excellence and adherence to aquatic safety and performance standards.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with support departments, including Finance, Maintenance, Health and Safety, Procurement, Human Resources, and Information Technology, to ensure that operational, colleague, and guest requirements are consistently met.
• Technical and First Aid Expertise: Perform water-related, slide-related, and attraction-related rescue techniques with proficiency, while also providing first aid care as needed to ensure guest and colleague safety.
• Cultural Stewardship: Foster a fun and engaging environment for guests, colleagues, and yourself, contributing to a positive and vibrant workplace culture within the park.

Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the following skills:

• Industry Experience: A background in water sports or prior experience working within a water theme park environment is essential.
• Customer Service Excellence: Proven experience in a customer-facing role, with strong communication, interpersonal, and guest service skills to ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
• Certifications: Hold specialized aquatics-related certifications that demonstrate your expertise and commitment to safety in aquatic environments.
• Flexibility and Availability: The ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and outside of standard operational hours is highly desirable, particularly for attending training sessions and ensuring the park’s readiness for peak periods.
