Project Manager (Software\ERP)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager (Software/ERP) to join our team and play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of Software, ERP, SAP, and Oracle implementation projects. This position is designed for professionals who excel in structured project execution, robust governance, and stakeholder alignment, ensuring predictable and high-quality outcomes within regulated environments such as banking, government, and defense sectors. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in managing complex IT and enterprise application projects, with a strong focus on compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement of delivery frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Manager (Software/ERP) will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of projects across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ERP, SAP, and Oracle implementation phases. Core duties include:

• Project Planning and Execution: Develop, maintain, and execute project plans that encompass scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks, issues, dependencies, and resources. Ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Stakeholder and Vendor Management: Act as a liaison between business users, technical teams, QA, DevOps, SAP/Oracle consultants, vendors, and client stakeholders. Facilitate clear communication and collaboration to drive project success.
• Governance and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including RAID logs, action trackers, meeting minutes, dashboards, status reports, and governance records. Ensure adherence to delivery governance standards, audit readiness, security reviews, and client approval controls.
• Quality Assurance and Deployment: Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, release readiness assessments, deployment, cutover planning, go-live execution, hypercare support, and post-go-live stabilization. Monitor and address performance issues to ensure smooth project transitions.
• Financial and Risk Management: Track project performance, budget utilization, effort consumption, invoicing milestones, and delivery risks. Provide accurate forecasting and financial insights to stakeholders, ensuring proactive risk mitigation and corrective actions.
• Leadership and Continuous Improvement: Lead governance meetings, steering updates, and escalation management based on role seniority. Drive the continuous improvement of delivery frameworks, reporting quality, planning, estimation, and project governance practices to enhance overall project efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Certifications: Professional certifications such as CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or PMP (Project Management Professional) are highly preferred. ERP, SAP, or Oracle-specific certifications will be considered a strong advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in project management, PMO, IT and software delivery, ERP, SAP, Oracle, enterprise application project delivery, software delivery support, ERP implementation support, or SAP/Oracle delivery support.

• Project Management & Delivery Governance: Expertise in managing projects across SDLC, ERP, SAP, and Oracle environments, with a strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Risk and Issue Management: Proficient in RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies to ensure project resilience.
• Stakeholder and Vendor Coordination: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders, vendors, and client teams effectively.
• Financial Acumen: Ability to monitor budgets, track financial performance, and provide accurate forecasting to support informed decision-making.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Awareness of regulated delivery controls, including documentation standards, audit evidence, access control, and compliance frameworks such as SAMA/NCA-oriented controls.
