Position Overview

The School Principal at KAIR Learning Company plays a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape of our partner schools in Riyadh. This full-time, on-site position demands a visionary leader who is committed to fostering academic excellence, operational efficiency, and a nurturing school culture. The Principal will serve as the primary architect of the school’s success, overseeing all aspects of daily operations, from curriculum implementation and student services to staff performance and community engagement. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance administrative responsibilities with hands-on leadership, ensuring that every decision aligns with KAIR Learning Company’s mission and the highest educational standards.

Key Responsibilities

The School Principal will be entrusted with the following core responsibilities:

• Academic and Operational Leadership: Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of academic programs, ensuring they meet or exceed local and international educational standards. Manage daily school operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and policy enforcement to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
• Staff Development and Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of educators and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, professional growth, and accountability. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to enhance teaching quality and student outcomes.
• Student-Centered Initiatives: Champion student success by designing and overseeing initiatives that support academic achievement, behavioral development, and emotional well-being. Work closely with teachers and counselors to identify and address the needs of all learners, including those with diverse learning requirements.
• Community and Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with families, local organizations, and educational authorities to create a supportive network for students and staff. Represent the school at community events, meetings, and professional forums to advocate for the school’s vision and goals.
• Financial and Resource Management: Develop and manage the school’s annual budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to support educational priorities. Monitor expenditures, track financial performance, and implement cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or compliance.
• Compliance and Continuous Improvement: Ensure adherence to local educational regulations, health and safety standards, and KAIR Learning Company’s policies. Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in education, driving continuous improvement in teaching methodologies, curriculum design, and school operations.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Leadership Experience: Proven track record in school leadership or educational administration, with at least three years of experience in a Principal, Vice Principal, or equivalent role. Experience in a K–12 setting is highly desirable.
• Educational Expertise: Strong background in curriculum development, instructional leadership, and student assessment. Ability to design and implement data-driven strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
• Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, staff, and external stakeholders. A diplomatic and approachable demeanor is essential for building trust and fostering collaboration.
• Organizational and Financial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to manage complex operations, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance requirements is a plus.
• Cultural Competency: Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with the ability to create an inclusive school environment that respects and celebrates individual differences. Adaptability to the local educational context and cultural nuances in Riyadh.
• Education and Professional Development: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field is required. A master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant discipline is preferred, along with certifications in school administration or leadership.
