Mechanical Technician – Maintain and Optimize Production Machinery

As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive preventive and breakdown maintenance on critical production equipment, including gearboxes, bearings, pumps, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in troubleshooting mechanical faults on extrusion lines and auxiliary machinery to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. You will conduct routine inspections, alignments, and lubrication schedules to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment. Additionally, you will interpret mechanical and engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals to guide installation, maintenance, and repair activities. To qualify, you must hold a Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering and possess a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or plant environment, with a preference for candidates with a background in the textiles or plastics industry.

Electrical Technician – Ensure Reliable Electrical Systems and Automation

We are also seeking an Electrical Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical panels, motors, PLCs, sensors, and control systems across our production lines. Your role will involve diagnosing and resolving electrical faults promptly to reduce production interruptions and ensure operational continuity. You will interpret electrical wiring diagrams, circuit schematics, and control panel layouts to support installation and maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include performing scheduled electrical maintenance, conducting safety checks, and contributing to automation and instrumentation upgrades. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering and at least five years of experience in a continuous-process manufacturing environment.

Operator – Extrusion Experience – Drive Consistent Product Quality and Output

For those with specialized expertise, we invite applications for the position of Extrusion Operator. In this role, you will operate and monitor extrusion lines, including tape, yarn, and film extrusion, to ensure consistent product quality and optimal output. You will set and adjust process parameters such as temperature, speed, and tension in accordance with production standards, while conducting in-process quality checks and reporting any deviations. Your responsibilities will also include performing basic troubleshooting and collaborating with maintenance teams to address technical issues. Candidates must have prior hands-on experience operating extrusion machinery in a polymer, plastics, or textile manufacturing environment.

QC Technician – Textiles Industry – Uphold Quality Standards and Compliance

Mattex is also seeking a QC Technician to oversee quality assurance across our textile production processes. In this role, you will inspect raw materials, in-process fabric and yarn, and finished goods to ensure compliance with stringent quality specifications and industry standards. You will conduct physical and visual testing on woven, non-woven, and extruded textile products, including assessments of tensile strength, weight/GSM, dimensions, and weave consistency. Your responsibilities will include identifying and documenting defects, coordinating with production and extrusion teams to address root causes, and maintaining quality inspection records and test reports. The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma or degree in Textile Engineering, Quality Control, or a related field, along with at least four years of QC experience in a textile, carpet, geotextile, or woven fabric manufacturing environment.
