About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Executive to join our legal team and play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and supporting the company’s strategic objectives. In this position, you will be responsible for providing expert legal counsel, drafting and reviewing contracts, and managing regulatory matters to safeguard the interests of Bayut | dubizzle and its stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Legal Advisory: Provide expert legal advice to internal stakeholders on a wide range of matters, including corporate governance, commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance, ensuring alignment with local and international laws.
• Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents to protect the company’s interests while fostering mutually beneficial partnerships with clients, vendors, and partners.
• Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including data protection, consumer rights, and digital transaction laws, to mitigate legal risks.
• Dispute Resolution: Manage and resolve legal disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and negotiations, in collaboration with external legal counsel and internal teams to minimize financial and reputational risks.
• Corporate Governance: Assist in the development and implementation of corporate governance policies, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements to maintain the company’s integrity and reputation.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct legal risk assessments for new initiatives, business strategies, and operational processes, providing proactive recommendations to mitigate potential liabilities.
• Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on legal best practices, compliance requirements, and ethical standards to foster a culture of legal awareness within the organization.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and marketing, to ensure legal considerations are integrated into business decisions and strategies.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution, with a focus on corporate, commercial, or technology law preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience, with a proven track record in contract drafting, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.
• Strong knowledge of Middle Eastern and international legal frameworks, particularly in areas relevant to digital platforms, real estate, and automotive industries.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and provide clear, actionable advice.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft precise legal documents and present complex information in a concise manner.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and databases, as well as familiarity with contract management software and compliance tracking systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
