Systems Engineer I - Security Engineer (CCTV, ACS, Intrusion, PSIM) - Saudi National Only

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer I – Security Engineer with specialized expertise in Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV), Access Control Systems (ACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and Physical Security Information Management (PSIM). The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, testing, and optimizing advanced physical security solutions to safeguard our assets and personnel. This position requires a deep understanding of security technologies, system integration, and the ability to troubleshoot complex security infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Implementation: Develop and deploy comprehensive physical security solutions, including CCTV, ACS, IDS, and PSIM systems, for both new and existing clients. Ensure solutions are scalable, robust, and aligned with project specifications.
• System Support and Troubleshooting: Provide expert support to system administration and engineering teams by leveraging advanced knowledge of networking principles and system administration. Diagnose and resolve complex system and operating issues to minimize downtime.
• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate effectively with customers, manufacturers, vendors, and system administrators to ensure smooth project execution and ongoing support. Maintain clear and professional communication throughout all phases of the project.
• Documentation and Compliance: Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including system performance reports, configurations, service requests, and analysis. Ensure full compliance with project scope, specifications, and relevant regulatory standards.
• Technical Guidance and Coordination: Work closely with field personnel and engineering teams to address installation challenges and provide technical guidance. Review architectural, electrical, telecommunication, and security engineering drawings to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Solution Design and Optimization: Create comprehensive solution design documentation, including drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), permitting packages, and design summaries. Apply value engineering principles to optimize designs, achieve cost savings, and enhance material efficiency.
• Risk Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to reduce potential project or operational risks. Ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant regulatory standards within PSIM implementations.
• Expert Recommendations: Act as a subject matter expert, providing recommendations and resolving complex technical security problems by interpreting directives, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in physical security systems engineering, with a strong focus on CCTV, ACS, IDS, and PSIM.
• Proven experience in system administration, including triaging system problems, resolving issues, analyzing data to prevent recurring problems, and implementing new workstations and system extensions.
• Vendor certifications for electronic security systems are highly preferred.

Technical Skills:

• VMS/CCTV Systems: Proficiency in leading platforms such as Bosch, Milestone, and Genetec.
• Electrical Security Systems: Working knowledge of Access Control Systems (ACS), Physical Security Information Management (PSIM), Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDS), and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
• System Architecture/Design: Proven ability to design robust and scalable security system architectures.
• Networking Principles: Advanced understanding of network infrastructure relevant to security system integration.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks independently without direct supervision.
• Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to conduct independent research and translate expertise into practical, actionable recommendations.
