The Senior Sales Engineer is a pivotal role responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening customer relationships across the Western Region of Saudi Arabia. This position focuses on promoting and positioning Emerson’s comprehensive Flow Control portfolio, including control valves, instruments, services, and solutions, within key industries such as chemical, petrochemical, metals, and mining.

As a trusted advisor, the Senior Sales Engineer partners closely with customers to understand their business priorities and deliver value-based solutions that support long-term success. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.

• Achieve or exceed annual sales targets and business objectives within the assigned territory and accounts.
• Position Emerson as a preferred partner by clearly communicating value propositions, technical differentiation, and solution benefits.
• Identify, develop, and advance sales opportunities by aligning customer needs with appropriate products, services, and solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive account and site plans across the Flow Controls portfolio.
• Collaborate closely with other Emerson teams to support coordinated customer engagement and portfolio pull-through.
• Ensure all business activities comply with Emerson’s ethics, trade compliance, and governance requirements.
• Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.

To succeed in this role, you should possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant professional experience, along with strong experience in technical sales within industrial or process industries. A solid understanding of control valves or flow control technologies and their applications is essential. Preferred qualifications include experience selling into target industries, familiarity with regional market dynamics, and proficiency in Arabic.
