Key Responsibilities

As the Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and advancing Almarai’s engineering operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with Almarai’s long-term business objectives, ensuring the integration of cutting-edge technologies and best practices to enhance productivity and sustainability.
• Team Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Empower your team to deliver high-quality solutions while maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance.
• Project Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects, from initial concept to implementation. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline engineering processes, reduce operational costs, and enhance overall efficiency. Implement lean methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives to drive measurable results.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring the following qualifications and experience:

• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are highly desirable.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role. Experience in the food and beverage industry, FMCG sector, or large-scale manufacturing is preferred but not mandatory.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management tools, and industry-specific software (e.g., CAD, ERP systems). Familiarity with automation, IoT, and data analytics is a plus.
• Leadership & Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and drive organizational change. Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
• Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, develop creative solutions, and make data-driven decisions. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
