Position Overview

In this critical role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and operational support of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) simulators, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for our clients in the defense and aerospace sectors. Key Responsibilities

• System Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on UAV simulator hardware and software components to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operation. This includes identifying and resolving technical issues, replacing faulty parts, and conducting system upgrades as required.
• Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and validate UAV simulator systems at client sites, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and operational requirements. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new hardware or software solutions.
• Technical Support and Training: Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, addressing their concerns and resolving simulator-related issues promptly. Additionally, deliver training sessions to end-users on simulator operation, maintenance best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps in accordance with company and industry standards. Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and client representatives, to ensure project milestones are met and client expectations are exceeded. Participate in team meetings and provide updates on system performance and maintenance activities.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: A diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in avionics, simulation systems, or UAV technologies are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance and support of simulation systems, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry. Prior experience with UAV simulators or flight training devices is a significant advantage.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of simulator hardware, software, and networking systems. Familiarity with operating systems, virtualization, and simulation software platforms is essential. Proficiency in troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools is required.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service are critical.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or vendor-specific training (e.g., CAE, Lockheed Martin, or Boeing) are preferred.
