Integrations Specialist

About the Role

Ninja is seeking a meticulous and technically proficient Integration Specialist to oversee and enhance the seamless connectivity between our internal systems, third-party platforms, and partner restaurant networks. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing system integrations, ensuring smooth data flow, and driving operational efficiency across our ecosystem. This position requires expertise in API integrations, POS connectivity, workflow automation, and technical troubleshooting, with a strong focus on reducing cancellation rates and improving overall performance for integrated restaurants.

Key Responsibilities

• System Integration Management: Oversee and maintain integrations between internal tools, third-party platforms, and partner restaurant systems, including POS systems and delivery applications, to ensure seamless data exchange and operational continuity.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, IT, and Product teams to define integration requirements, develop scalable technical solutions, and align integration strategies with business objectives.
• Workflow Documentation & Optimization: Create and maintain detailed documentation of integration workflows, perform ongoing troubleshooting, and implement enhancements to streamline processes and improve data accuracy.
• Vendor & Partner Coordination: Lead integration testing with vendors, partner restaurants, and external technology providers to validate system compatibility and performance before deployment.
• Performance Monitoring & Compliance: Continuously monitor integration performance to ensure stability, reliability, and adherence to industry standards, while proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Issue Resolution & Root Cause Analysis: Diagnose technical issues, implement corrective actions, and drive enhancements to minimize failures and cancellation rates, thereby enhancing restaurant performance.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between vendors, partners, and internal teams to coordinate system updates, integration initiatives, and issue resolution in a timely and transparent manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with system and software integration, including API management (REST, webhooks), POS integrations, and delivery app connectivity.
• Automation Expertise: Familiarity with workflow automation tools such as Zapier, MuleSoft, or Workato to design and optimize automated processes.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of data consistency, process optimization, and system reliability, with experience in CRM, ERP, logistics, or restaurant systems.
• Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across operations, tech, and product teams.
