Area Sales Managers (Paints)

We are seeking dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Managers to lead our sales efforts in the paints and building chemicals sector. This role involves owning and delivering sales targets, managing a team of sales representatives, and fostering key relationships with regional clients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering sales targets and reporting performance against monthly and quarterly plans.
• Leading, coaching, and managing a team of 2-3 sales representatives, setting individual targets, and conducting regular field visits.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts, including contractors, applicators, distributors, dealers, project owners, and consultants.
• Identifying and converting new business opportunities, tracking projects from specification to purchase.
• Driving product specification with consultants, engineers, and project decision-makers.
• Managing the regional sales pipeline and forecast, ensuring accurate reporting on projects, quotations, and expected closures.
• Monitoring collections and receivables, ensuring customers stay within approved credit terms.
• Tracking competitor activity, pricing, and market trends, and feeding insights back to management.
• Coordinating with technical, logistics, and supply teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Ensuring the team applies company pricing, discount, and credit policies consistently.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Chemical, or a related discipline) or equivalent.
• Up to 5 years of sales experience, ideally within paints, construction materials, or building chemicals.
• Prior experience supervising or leading a small sales team is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of the assigned regional market and its contractor and distributor base.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and team leadership skills.
