We are actively seeking a seasoned Oracle Solution Architect – Utilities Sector to join our client’s team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities
The Oracle Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical vision and strategy for enterprise-wide Oracle Utilities implementations. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Solution Architecture & Design:
- Lead the development of end-to-end enterprise solutions using Oracle Utilities products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient architectures that adhere to enterprise standards and Oracle best practices.
- Translate complex business requirements into technical solution designs and comprehensive architecture blueprints.
- Define application, integration, infrastructure, and security architectures to support robust utility operations.
- Review and approve technical designs produced by development teams to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions are future-proof, adaptable, and aligned with evolving utility industry trends.
- Technical Leadership & Governance:
- Provide expert guidance on Oracle Utilities technologies, including Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), Meter Data Management (MDM), and Customer to Meter (C2M).
- Ensure all architectural decisions comply with Oracle’s recommended practices and industry regulations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, offering strategic insights to enhance operational efficiency and digital transformation initiatives.
- Industry & Business Alignment:
- Leverage a strong understanding of utility industry operations to design solutions that address critical challenges in electricity, water, gas, and multi-utility sectors.
- Drive innovation by integrating emerging technologies and methodologies into utility-specific solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle technologies, with a focus on Oracle Utilities solutions.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale Oracle Utilities solutions, including CC&B, MDM, and C2M.
- Strong familiarity with the Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) and Oracle Utilities Analytics.
- Experience in leading digital transformation projects and enterprise solution architecture initiatives.
- Technical & Industry Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of utility industry operations, including billing, metering, customer management, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in solution architecture methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
- Ability to evaluate and integrate third-party systems and technologies to enhance utility operations.
- Soft Skills & Collaboration:
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
