Key Responsibilities

The Head Barista will oversee all aspects of coffee production and bar operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities include:

• Coffee Production and Quality Assurance: Oversee the preparation and presentation of all beverages, maintaining the highest standards of taste, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
• Team Leadership and Training: Provide guidance, support, and training to baristas, fostering a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Ensure all team members are well-versed in product knowledge and operational procedures.
• Operational Management: Manage daily bar operations, including scheduling, payroll, ordering, and inventory control. Contribute innovative ideas to enhance operational flow, merchandising, and sales profitability.
• Customer Engagement and Education: Deliver personalized, friendly, and knowledgeable service to every customer. Educate patrons about our specialty coffee offerings, brewing methods, and complementary sweets to elevate their experience.
• Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Proactively address challenges, troubleshoot issues, and adapt to changing demands to maintain a seamless and efficient operation. Be prepared to step in during peak hours or staff shortages as needed.
• Back of House Oversight: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards. Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate maintenance as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Industry Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the specialty coffee industry, with a proven track record in coffee preparation, customer service, and team leadership.
