Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Airport Manager to oversee Riyadh Air’s airport operations across key outstations in East and South East Asia. This high-impact role demands a hands-on leader who will drive operational excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and elevate the guest experience while fostering strong stakeholder relationships. As the face of Riyadh Air at the airport, you will be responsible for the seamless execution of day-to-day operations, including passenger services, ramp operations, check-in, baggage handling, lounge management, and ticketing—all while maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Oversee and optimize all airport operations to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective execution, aligning with Riyadh Air’s business objectives.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all aviation regulations, safety protocols, and industry standards, representing Riyadh Air in AOC meetings, airport committees, and regulatory forums.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customs, immigration, airport operators, and other key authorities to facilitate smooth operations.
• Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the airport team, including frontline leaders and customer service staff, fostering a culture of high performance, motivation, and adherence to operational SOPs and grooming standards.
• Guest Experience Enhancement: Champion a world-class passenger experience by ensuring excellence in service delivery across all touchpoints, from check-in to boarding.
• Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement in processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate service quality.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess the following:

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, complemented by at least 8 years of progressive experience in airport or ground operations.
• A minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity at Tier 1 or Tier 2 global airports, with a proven track record in leading teams and driving operational success.
• Hands-on experience in managing critical airport functions, including passenger services, ramp operations, baggage handling, and load control.
• Prior experience in station start-up or launch projects is highly desirable, demonstrating your ability to establish and scale operations from the ground up.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams in high-pressure environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• A commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
