Regional QSHE Coordinator (Sales) – Drive Excellence in Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental Standards

This pivotal role is based in Saudi Arabia and will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental (QSHE) compliance across our sales operations. Key Responsibilities
As the Regional QSHE Coordinator (Sales), you will be entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities designed to uphold and enhance our QSHE performance. Your core duties will include:
- QSHE Compliance Oversight: Monitor and ensure adherence to local and international QSHE regulations, standards, and company policies across all sales regions. This includes conducting regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
- Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver comprehensive QSHE training programs for sales teams, distributors, and stakeholders to foster a safety-first culture. Ensure all personnel are equipped with the knowledge and tools to mitigate risks and respond effectively to incidents.
- Incident Management and Reporting: Lead the investigation of QSHE-related incidents, near-misses, and non-conformances. Prepare detailed reports, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and track progress to prevent recurrence.
- Regulatory Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies, customers, and internal stakeholders on QSHE matters. Stay abreast of evolving regulations and industry best practices to ensure Almarai remains at the forefront of compliance and sustainability.
- Performance Metrics and Continuous Improvement: Track and analyze QSHE performance metrics, including incident rates, audit findings, and training completion rates. Recommend and implement strategic initiatives to drive continuous improvement in QSHE outcomes.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, logistics, operations, and senior management, to integrate QSHE principles into daily business practices. Foster a collaborative environment where QSHE is prioritized across all functions.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Support Almarai’s sustainability goals by promoting eco-friendly practices, reducing waste, and minimizing environmental impact within sales operations. Contribute to the development and implementation of environmental management systems (EMS).
Qualifications and Experience
To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for QSHE excellence. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications such as NEBOSH, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in QSHE roles, with at least 3 years in a regional or multinational setting, preferably within the FMCG, food manufacturing, or logistics sectors.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing QSHE management systems, conducting audits, and driving compliance across diverse operational environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend data-driven solutions to enhance QSHE performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and foster a culture of safety and accountability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with QSHE management software or ERP systems.
- Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
