Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

The Business System Analyst will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including:

• Process Analysis and Optimization: Conduct thorough assessments of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. Develop and recommend strategic solutions to enhance productivity, reduce operational costs, and streamline workflows.
• Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Work closely with stakeholders, including department heads, end-users, and IT teams, to elicit, document, and validate business requirements. Ensure that these requirements are clearly communicated and aligned with organizational objectives.
• System Implementation and Support: Collaborate with IT teams to design, implement, and deploy business systems that meet specified requirements. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance and user satisfaction.
• Technical Solution Evaluation: Research, evaluate, and recommend technology solutions, including software, hardware, and cybersecurity tools, to address business needs. Assess the feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and scalability of proposed solutions.
• Change Management: Facilitate smooth transitions during system upgrades or new implementations by developing and executing change management strategies. Train end-users and provide guidance to ensure seamless adoption of new systems and processes.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools to monitor system performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate actionable insights. Present findings and recommendations to senior management to support data-driven decision-making.
• Cybersecurity Compliance: Ensure that all business systems adhere to industry best practices and regulatory standards for cybersecurity. Collaborate with IT security teams to identify vulnerabilities and implement robust security measures.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the following skills:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, IT Management, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in business analysis or cybersecurity are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in the Information Technology field, with a proven track record in business analysis, system implementation, or cybersecurity. Prior experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical information and translate it into clear, actionable business requirements. Familiarity with IT systems, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and cybersecurity frameworks is essential.
• Certifications: Preferred certifications include CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or CompTIA Security+. Additional certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP) or project management (e.g., PMP) are advantageous.
• Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with teams across the organization.
• Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a dynamic environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results are critical.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required to ensure effective communication and collaboration with global teams and stakeholders.
